message 52: by Séville (new)

Séville | 3 comments i have never reread a book mainly because i'm afraid i won't like it as much as i did the first time i read it. i think the only book i'm able to reread forever and ever is Pride and Predjudice by Jane Austen

message 53: by est (new)

est | 19 comments Yess I always re read my fave books such as the summer I turned pretty or the shatter me books!! I find a lot of comfort in it as I don’t need to pay as much attention as the first time and I can always skip to fave scenes. Also sometimes you notice more foreshadowing or hints in the book when you already know what’s going to happen <3

message 63: by Mely (new)

Mely | 2 comments YESSS If I love the story I totally do cause I’m also not over it and want to go back to it

ludo (taylor's version) | 3 comments it depends, if I don't have any new books to read yes

message 65: by Regina (new)

Regina | 2 comments I think it depends on the book. Most classics you have to read twice because nobody can understand the full message by reading it once.
Another reason to reread a book after a couple of years is to interpret the literature with the life experience you earned in the past. I will see other interesting things in the book you might not recognized the first time

message 66: by lina ✧.* (new)

lina ✧.* | 3 comments i loove rereading books but only those i enjoyed of course!

sosi✮ (skywalker’s version) | 55 comments only my favs

message 68: by Carla (new)

Carla Absolutely yes. But I do the same with shows & movies that I love. I'll wait a while (typically at least a year) but I like revisiting favorites. That's how I know I really enjoyed something, if I want to re-experience it later.

message 69: by maya (new)

maya I looove rereading books all my 5 star books, because then I catch all the little details I've missed, the foreshadowing done, all the hints dropped. It makes me love the book even more. I only buy paperbacks of books that Ive reread and still love :")

Kendi | 11 comments No. I'd love to, but there's too many books that need my attention more. :D

message 74: by Annabelle (new)

Annabelle | 1 comments I’ve only ever reread one book, and it was because I wanted to read the sequel and I couldn’t remember what had happened. And I feel like Rory rereads books a lot, and she has one or two that she’s always rereading!

message 75: by Christy (new)

Christy No, I never reread books. There are just too many other books that I want to read

message 76: by Safa (new)

Safa (digitalbookcafe) | 19 comments When I don’t have access to new books I tend to reread from my personal library

message 77: by Safiya (new)

Safiya | 16 comments I don’t reread books in their entirety. I usually reread sections of books that I really enjoyed. I notice I mostly pick back up romance books as well.

message 78: by Bailey (new)

Bailey Weeks | 21 comments I’ve recently started. I was big on No but my comfort series books I will. Like Harry Potter or the Sookie Stackhouse series. Mainly because they are both quick reads and I really enjoyed. Plus the Sookie Stackhouse series has so many books I really forget all the details. So after a few years I’m ready to reread because I forget.

Johannasbookshelf | 1 comments I retead certain books as a sort of „tradition“ for example in November/ December I always read harry potter:)

message 80: by alex (new)

alex | 12 comments absolutely… i saw a magnet that said “books are a present you can open again and again” and nothing’s ever been truer
