Once. :)
Audiobooks greatly aid my reading. Both Red Rising and Stiletto were audio.

I wondered the same thing. Scott, you are so great at keeping to a reading schedule.

Bill wrote: "Well done Scott. Were you trying to get it done before his new series comes out?"
Yes. It had been on my to read for forever and I figured getting it done quick to be ready for the new one would be best.

Finished Shades of Magic 3/3 A Darker Shade of Magic series. Good series that I almost abandoned after book one. Books 2 and 3 were quite good.
Thanks. I feel like I'm fighting against the tide sometimes. I finished two this month and brought another up to date but I'm starting two new ones with group reads next month.

The worst part is I haven't even suffered that yet but know it will comes just like yours has. All my new series have either been group reads or first book in series which instantly go into the up to date.

To be fair though they're pretty much all audio, which moves the fastest for me, and I get bored listening to series back to back
I think you'll be pleased if you decide to move on in the Saxon Stories/Warrior Chronicles though, book 3 seems to have a lot less pissing contest, more hard-learned lessons for Uhtred

Book one was really good. Book two got better as it went along. I plan on doing the entire ten books in the series. I'm not sure if he's done at ten of if there will be more.

They're definitely enjoyable and easy to read! And I like that it's not just more of the same stuff over and over. We should start BR them after you read #3! It would be doable for me to keep up

I started three already. The one complication with a BR is I'm doing these all out of the library so I'm dependent on wait times. Are you buying them?

Nope, library. There's generally just 1 hold on the copies at a time for me so if I put a hold on 2 weeks before we start it would likely still work out

Thanks. Eventually but not right away. It was a good series not a great one for me. Books one and three were good but could have been shorter. Two was a snorefest.

How did you like City of Stairs? That is another series very high on my wanted list!

Thanks. I like the series but don't love it. Both books were round-ups to 4* for me. Certainly worth reading but not drop everything to do it. Most of the reviews on my friend list like it more than I do.
On the upside it kind of bridges a gap between urban, steampunk and epic fantasy will elements of all of them. Jackson has an easy writing style. The characters all have flaws.

Those are some bulky books you got there... Your completed list is awesome! I think I have 2 finished series for the entire year so far, so wtg. I'm itching to start Malazan soon, but keep thinking I should finish a few others first so I can really commit. I want to do the Ultimate Reading Order.

Thanks. Moontide has been good. I'd put it on par with Codex Alera where it got better each book and by the last it was a 4.5*.
