I love her in that role. She's absolutely perfect. There's actresses who I think are much prettier but the way she gives that pouty, arrogant, defiant look that encompasses her eyes and lips is simply unsurpassed.

Great progress Scott, especially getting through so many large books. Completing 3 series is fantastic.

I think I'm tapped out after Bill's. But I'm open to suggestions! I should probably stay off here for a couple days due to lack of sleep (teething, GI bugs, etc) don't want to get myself banned from the group.

What are you at? That's only the series with published books. There's another 20 series I'm waiting for the authors to finish but I don't put those towards my totals.

Thanks, I'm trying. The group reads have helped me stay focused and at the same time caused me to start a lot of new series. We started October 5th. I want to be below 10 open series by that date which was my original goal.

Those 19 series don't stand a chance now that you have Malazan done. Great job!

Thanks. Ya especially completing BotF last month the only mammoth thing left is book #5 of ASOIAF. Kharkanas books are big but not BotF big.

I'm hoping to do the same. If I count nonfantasy, I still have 30 series that I need to bring up to date or finish.

That's not bad. My list contains 3 series which are primarily historical fiction. 2 of those do have a small magical element to them. (Saxon Stories, Iron Reign and Leopard King Saga). A few could also be considered Sci-Fi but the line is often blurred especially between Urban Fantasy and Sci-Fi.

104 without counting UTD or Abandoned. If I also take out Low Priority, then I'm only at 46. I also would like to be under 10 someday, but I'm thinking that will be a ways off haha.

Unfortunately I have a bunch more I'd like to start within the next few months. I think a good short term goal is to at least get my High Priority list under 10 before adding to it lol.

I'm at 53 not counting UTD. I had set my high priorities under 10 but now added a bunch of new series there so already failing that goal.

Scott, Kharkanas may not be as long but think they are even more dense than BotF. He gets real philosophical with them.

Nikki, that's a reasonable goal.

I don't think I can take more real and serious.

I know I felt ridiculous saying it but it lacks a lot of the humor and big battles of the main series and is heavier on the philosophy. I feel like it was purposely done because it was how he wanted to represent the Tiste but it definitely lacks lightness.

Yes easier said than done. I will finish off or put up to date a half dozen series pretty quickly. Then it's just about staying disciplined.
