Incomplete Series Challenge

Scott is Shameless (Zero open Series)

Thanks all. I definitely feel a lot better than when we started this. I am starting a bunch of new series in July though. But after that nothing until after Oct 5th when this began so I can get under ten within a year.
I have exactly 10 open (with next titles available) series on my list.... I won't go into details about how I'm better than you or anything because that would be rude and I'm not rude like that

Please make Scott look bad.

More reading, less tug tug over in Bill's thread. :)

As my guy Loial would say let's not be hasty. :)
I wish I had a 6 completed series month.
Light Scott! You wool-headed ox!
Actually, I've been indentured to do Bill's laundry and complain to my friends about how much I loathe him. It really takes up a lot of my time.

I suppose I should actually update my thread once in awhile eh? Does progress on the Bunnicula Collection count?

LOL. I enjoy sleep too much to wish that on myself. That said I do average only 6.5/night. I get up first thing and usually knock out few hours. Once I get my neck right and can cycle more frequently again my total reading time will go down.

What's wrong with your neck?
It's hard being gimped. I can't even remember what it's like to be normal anymore (please don't take the bait on that joke lol)
I deleted some posts and now have the top 5 posts as completed, up to date, abandoned, incomplete and books read for the challenge. It feels somewhat more manageable but I still wish we could use Excel.
The new setup looks great Scott and easier to manage. I agree with you Excel would make it much easier to manage our lists.
I am excel-challenged. I have no skills in these kinds of areas so I'm cool with it this way lol
Menagerie 2/2 Spectacle was brought back up to date. If not for this challenge I think this would have been a series I just let drift which would be a shame because while book one was barely passable to continue book two was terrific.
That's awesome! Because of your rec, this is one of those I'm eager to start. I loved her shifter series.

Great list Scott. 4 advanced and 3 up to date is fantastic progress. Did you like Retribution Falls?

TY.

They were strategic starts where I'll be able to finish them all before October 5th when I want to be down to 10 open series. Those YA audiobooks almost feel like cheating.

Great progress! And I agree - ya audio feels like cheating haha. I can get through one in a single day if given half a chance. And that's listening at just 1.5 speed.

I do audio at 1.5X when I need to pay closer attention. 1.75X for fluff and 2X when the book sucks but I don't want to DNF it because I'm already so far into it.

At this point, I fee like I am the cheater (when it comes to audiobooks). I have to confess the basis for me is 2.0 - when I am in the car driving or working out. And 3.0 when I have the book right in front of me - otherwise I get frustrated for the slow process. Yes, I am also not a very patient person.
But what I really wanted to point out is that Scott clearly does not sleep - how can you possibly read so much!? I am curious to know the secret!
