Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

While working on combining books from this series I ran across this book with the Notice: "This edition is missing a title and/or author name." with the option to "Rescue this edition", which I clicked. There is a note: "IMPORTANT: Do not use Amazon's information to rescue books."

I thought Amazon IS an acceptable source for information now. Can I use their info to rescue this edition or not?

That looks like outdated language from before GR was acquired by them. Here is the publisher site for the books regardless:
