Elena and Bolt walked to the docks in silence. She was regretting not having a jacket. The air was chilly now that the sun was setting.
"So...who do you ask about your stuff?" Bolt asked. When he'd come, he'd come on the actual airship and hadn't dealt with this.
"Grandma said that my luggage should have arrived at my cabin by night fall," She said. "I wish it was easier than someone bringing it there. Imagine if they magically appeared inside."
He looked at her. "That's how it's supposed to work, you know. Did you even wait long enough to see if it would be sent there before night fall?" he asked.
Elena nodded. "My things got mixed up so there was already a delay," she said. "And since when is there magic?" She had a perplexed looked on her face.
"Well if you're living here, you're bound to see it sooner or later," Bolt said. "Is it possible that your things actually are in your cabin then? Or do we need to figure out who knows what we need to?"
"They're not there," Elena said. "I would have noticed." She said, not explaining. She looked around. "That looks like one of my bags over there."
Elena started walking over when a man with the head of a rooster stood up in front of her. "Aiip!" she shrieked with a jump.
Bolt jumped at the sight and then laughed riotously. It was just so hilarious to see and her reaction was priceless.
"How is that not funny?" He asked, still laughing. Man, Blaze would have loved to see that! he caught himself thinking.
The shiphand ruffled his feathers in an offended huff and left. Elena looked after him. "Sorry!" She glared at Bolt but couldn't help laugh a little herself.
Bolt laughed still. "Come on, you can't tell me that wasn't hilarious," he said. "I think your reaction was the best though."
That just made him crack up again. Since airship was how he and his siblings had gotten here, he had already known about the animal head thing.
She had taken the airship also, but she had stayed up above on the passenger deck so she could watch. It's not that she didn't know of them, she just hadn't been ready. And with the way things were here, anything could be ready to eat her. Or try.
Elena shook her head and headed towards her bag again, hoping there were more in one area.

Bolt followed her, looking at their surroundings. It was different around here at night, so he was taking it all in. "So what do your bags look like, exactly, just so I can keep my eyes open?"
"I have a big chest, with my initials on the side. I also have a green duffle bag. The rest are red suitcases." Elena told him.
Bolt nodded. "Got it," he said, looking around again, specifically for her luggage now. "I think I found the chest, over there. Is that it?"
Elena lifted up a duffle bag but it wasn't hers. After setting it down, she looked over. "Seems like it."
"Well maybe your other stuff is behind it," Bolt suggested with a shrug. "Or at least somewhere around it. "
"If it was, why is it so hard for them to send it?" she asked, lugging the bag she had already found.
"I don't know, they probably just have a lot of other stuff to do?" he said. He was sure they would find all of it sooner or later, but who knew just how long it would take.
Elena stopped next to the chest and saw the rest of her bags stacked neatly behind it. Her mouth fell open slightly but her face stayed blank.
Bolt looked at her when she stopped. "Did you find it?" he asked, then glanced over to where she was looking. Seeing all her bags, a grin spread across his face because he'd been right.
He shrugged. "I guess that must have been it," he said. "Strange. But at least you've got it all now."
Bolt turned around too and then smiled. Another one? And he hadn't expected either of them. How strange.
The blonde haired vampire stood on top of a stack of trunks. "You didn't think you could get rid of me that easily did you, Elle?" She looked over at her cousin and grinned. "I see you've already been trapped into retrieving luggage Bl-" Kat paused when she saw her sister shaking her head. "Bolt. Sorry."
Bolt's face went blank when she got his name wrong, and didn't change when she fixed her mistake. He shook his head. "It's fine," he said in a tone that didn't betray much. "Hey Kat. Did you just get here?"
"That's unfortunate, but at least you got here," Bolt said. "Nice to see you here. Are you staying?"
She looked down at him and tilted her head. "Yep, mom finally made her decision." One of the shiphands, one with the head of a horse, waved a mop at her to get down and she lost her balance.
"Careful!" Elena called.
Kat slipped and flipped backwards, landing on her feet. "We're good." She said proudly.

Bolt clapped. "Well done, very well done!" he cheered. He thought it was a great save, though he thought it would have been funny even if she'd fallen.
Elena rolled her eyes slightly. Katherine always landed on her feet. With a bow, Kat walked over to them. "Now that you've found everything, you can tell them it is ready to be sent up to the school."
Elena gave her sister a look. "And how do you know this?"
Kat shrugged and adjusted the cuff of her blouse. "I'm just assuming. I did my research on the way."

"She's right, as far as I know," Bolt said. "Since they didn't do it on their own, you can just ask them to do it now. It saves us the trouble of having to drag it all there ourselves."
"They wait until all of your luggage is accounted for Elle. Don't be so bitter," Kat told her sister. Elena put her hands up with a sigh. "Fine, find me someone to tell."
"Hmm," Bolt said, looking around. He saw the captain not far away, but he figured that wasn't the best person to go to. "Oh hey, maybe the dockmaster?"
"You seem to know best," Elena said, one hand on her hip carelessly. Kat shook her head at her sister.
"I'm going to take that as a compliment!" Bolt said, marching off to the dockmaster's little shack off to the side.
Kat followed after him. "Good idea." Elena looked back at her things one last time before following.
Bolt approached the shed and knocked on the side of the little window to get the pelican-headed man's attention. He was the only one who worked around this place who didn't have the head of a farm animal.
"What can I help you with," he said, his voice definitely pelican-y.

(pelican-y lol)
Elena pushed to the front. "I'd like to have my luggage sent to my cabin. Do I talk to you about that?"
