Has anyone else read this? I thought it was an excellent book on the evolution of navigation.

Hello William, yes, I read it a few years ago and also really enjoyed it. I thought Dava Sobel brought the fascinating story of clockmaker John Harrison's determination to construct the perfect marine chronometer to life.

I own this book but haven't read more than the first chapter. Thanks for the nudge to pick it up again. You both make me want to finish it.
