Favourite read of the month?

Remember to share every book you read over in the What are you reading? thread rather than here.

Petrik (petrikleo) | 1546 comments I read a total of 9 book this month. Wow, I'm surprised myself and they are quite big in size actually.

1. Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo (4 Stars)
2. 1984 by George Orwell (4 Stars)
3. The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie (4.5 Stars)
4. Before They Are Hanged by Joe Abercrombie (5 Stars)
5. Last Argument of Kings by Joe Abercrombie (5 Stars)
6. Alloy of Law by Brandon Sanderson (4.5 Stars)
7. Shadows of Self by Brandon Sanderson (5 Stars)
8. Bands of Mourning by Brandon Sanderson (will finish by tomorrow.)
9. Black Prism by Brent Weeks (4.5 Stars)

this month marks the most I've read within a single month actually. If I have to really choose one, my favorite among all of these will have to be Last Argument of Kings. The Bloody Nine & Glokta ftw! :)

Once again I could just choose my Malazan book of the month but I'm happy to have another 5* to choose: NOS4A2 by Joe Hill

NOS4A2 by Joe Hill

Since I'm not done Reaper's Gale yet, I think I'll choose The Night Circus as my favourite of the month.

Can I pick 2 books if they're in the same series? If so, the Blinding Knife and the Broken Eye

Tracey the Lizard Queen | 117 comments The Guilt of the Innocent. A fantastic series. Book 2 was just as good as the first!

message 7: by Tammie (new)

Tammie | 5952 comments It's a toss up between The Crown Tower and The Visitor. They were both so good!

I'm still reading Gardens of the Moon so I'll have to say A King's Ransom was my number one book of the month. 5 stars as usual for Penman.

message 9: by Tosh (new)

Tosh It's hard to settle on just one, but The Dread Wyrm was very good.

message 10: by Chris (new)

Chris Haught (haughtc) | 2348 comments All I've read is a couple of mediocre comic books. So hard to pick one of them as "best" for anything.

message 11: by Barbara (new)

Barbara | 3 comments Started a new series, The Stormlight Archive, both books are great, slowly developing but you get to know the world and the characters really good.
