Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

Hi there; not sure where's the appropriate place to post this... (or if this is something that can be addressed at all) I'm sure other people may have the same question; I know I have in the past, just that I moved on and worked on something else at the time.

Anyways, for example, Kyo Maclear is a Goodreads Author, so regular Librarians aren't able to edit her profile, which is fine... but that also means we can't add videos, either.

This isn't a big issue or anything, just that, through the publisher, I found the official book trailer for the book in question:

While reading the book myself, I had already grasped there was definitely great metaphors going on, but seeing the trailer shed more light on the matter.

Was wondering if someone who has access could perhaps help adding this book trailer? If not, I'll understand as well. Thanks for reading this! =D

I see! Thanks for clarifying it! So I guess not much help can be provided on this group then? Is there a way to move the "location" of this thread? Like perhaps to another appropriate group? I'm still really new regarding to posting topics... Is deleting and posting a new identical topic (at a suitable place) the only way to go?

Limiting the addition of videos on Goodreads Author profiles to the authors themselves is deliberate, so there is no other group you would theoretically move this thread to.

In any case, it is not possible to move threads from one group to another.

Thank you for clarifying both matters! So I guess short of contacting the authors themselves, there's no way or place to request adding official content? (Just checking if I'm getting the picture right; after that I think the discussion can be closed. Thanks for helping out! =D)
