Voting will begin on November 1 for the winter group reads. I have set up the polls so that you can look at the options and think about your choices. You can find the polls here. Or, simply look at the topics on the upper right hand side of any SRC page, and click on "polls."

Again, please keep in mind that the polls WILL NOT BE OPEN FOR VOTING until November 1. Voting will continue through November 14.

This selection has Childrens as a genre. Will it be exempt as a group read?

There is no blanket prohibition on books with Childrens as genre. If you look at the book in AR Bookfinder, it meets the SRC requirements for the use of Childrens books - if it didn't, it wouldn't have been included in the poll.

So ... will we need to post the AR Bookfinder information for this book when we post the completion of this task?

Dee (austhokie) | 8955 comments Or could we get the AR book finder info included in the task description for easy copy/paste

That seems like a really good idea.

It's MG+, so no other info is actually necessary.

Bizarrely, on the UK AR bookfinder (which is the one I normally check), it's only MY, which I believe does need to be declared? http://www.arbookfind.co.uk/bookdetai.... Or shall we all just use the US designation?

Out of idle interest:
UK: AR Quiz No. 200583 EN Fiction; AR Quiz Information IL: MY - BL: 9.6 - AR Pts: 14.0; AR Quiz Types: RP
US: AR Quiz No. 54437 EN Fiction; AR Quiz Information IL: MG+ - BL: 9.5 - AR Pts: 13.0; AR Quiz Types: RP
