Roy Lindell refers to Harry as a "private investigator" even when he was with the LAPD. What do you think he meant? Was he on target?

Robin (robinmy) | 1214 comments Harry worked on his own, even when he was partners with Kiz and Jerry Edgar when he was with the LAPD. He would go off on his own to chase a lead and not tell them about it until the next day. Now he is working on his own again, even though he doesn't consider himself a private investigator.

My thoughts to a tee, Robin. It was also telling that he hadn't developed many loyalties that he could use privately. Without his badge, or the idea of one, people weren't opening up to him.

It seemed to be a revelation to him in that moment. Lindell also implied there was a bit of selfishness in that behavior. I thought maybe he was right about that on some level.

Robin (robinmy) | 1214 comments Yes, Harry seemed surprised to be called on his behavior. It's almost like he didn't realize that he cut his partners out of the picture when he went off to investigate on his own. And, I think Lindell was correct about the selfishness in what Harry has been doing. (It probably isn't going to stop Harry though.)

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments Lindell was 100% right with his assessment of Harry. Harry was selfish and even though he was able to find Marty's body, his actions were thoughtless. If he hadn't figured it out, Lindell would have had to live with the uncertainty for the rest of his life.
