I only have two group commitments this month: The Tyrant's Law and Return of the Crimson Guard.

I am reading The Luminaries and shall see what else the month brings.

message 3: by Tammie (new)

Tammie | 5953 comments Well last month got almost completely derailed for me (should have known I would want to read spooky stuff for Halloween). Who knows if I will actually read all of these in November, but I'm planning on:

Walk on Earth a Stranger (buddy read)
Gemina
Crooked Kingdom
Magic Binds
The Beauty of Darkness

Jarek "the Mistborn" Dąbrowski (jarekthemistborn) | 408 comments Hero of ages
Warbreaker
Alloy of law
and then in December shadows of self and bands of mourning to finish of the cosmere books. Iam hoping to start of the new year with the light bringer series. I've heard great things about it from fellow goodreaders:)

message 16: by Daniel (new)

Daniel Millard | 30 comments I'm still lurking here. Various IRL activities that have started have really sapped my reading time (Also Civilization VI), but I've polished off The Hobbit and The House of the Four Winds in the last week or two, and am now starting on Gene Wolfe's The Knight, recommended to me as a great, more intellectually challenging fantasy read by a friend. I suppose my goal at this point is really to finish that duology and my current theological read by year's end in preparation for 2017 projects.

The Well of Ascension was a great novel. Some sequels do not live up to the first novel of the series, but I can honestly say that this was a great book. I hope you enjoy it.

It's starting to become a popular book. I hope it lives up to the hype because I have only heard positive things about it

I just finished The Rose and the Thorn which was excellent. I finished it in less that three days which is definitely an accomplishment for me these days.
