Zombie (koneko) | 4 comments Hello everyone :)

I adore the demonica series by Larissa Ione, I love the demon/vampire theme and the medical side of it, as well as the immersive nature of the stories.

So, recommendations wanted! I will warn you all I've read quite a lot (the same for many of you no doubt) but all suggestions much appreciated :)

Thanks!

The Nightwalker series by Jacqueline Frank is one of my favorite series. I would say they're very comparable to the Demonica series.

Amyiw | 177 comments OK, covers are new suggestions
Chicagoland Some Girls Bite is UF
Kate Daniels Magic Bites is UF
So both of those are not really like Demonica
Nighthuntress Halfway to the Grave has a romance in each book (and sex) but it focuses on the main couple and is first person, so right on the edge of PNR
All three are excellent but not like Demonica's PNR with great over arc UF, 3rd person and new couple in each book.

Guild Hunters, first 3 are similarly UF with same couple (strong romance but same couple), then she starts on new characters/couples in the universe and becoming PRN, then coming back to the original characters or a mix. I would say PNR for some and UF for others.

The Edge by Ilona Andrews is pretty good and similar. On the romance side, not as much sex. On the Edge (The Edge, #1) by Ilona Andrews

Lords of the Underworld The Darkest Night by Gena Showalter and Jacob Nightwalkers by Jacquelyn Frank... those fit pretty good. I think Demonica is slightly better.

Psy-changelings Slave to Sensation (Psy-Changeling, #1) by Nalini Singh by Nalini Singh. PNR with strong UF overarc after book 2 or 3. Very good but not as fun.

Very funny but not even close on the UF overarc plot, Pride by Shelly Laurenston, The Mane Event (Pride, #1) by Shelly Laurenston

Kresley Cole's Immortals After Dark, A Hunger Like No Other I would say is the closest but you've already read it. And it is the same caliber as Demonica IMO.

I have my favorite 25 lists of UF and separately PNR here, if you would like to look.
