This is perhaps cheating because I'm almost done with this book--but I was drawn in by the cover of this book, and then by the summary. I personally read a ton of YA stuff, and recently have been reading a lot featuring mental illness. I'm drawn to YA mostly because it tends to be somewhat universal--everyone has been an adolescent at some point, and there is always something in these stories that speaks to what we all have experienced as adolescents.
1. Do you have any experience with mental illness?
2. What do you like about young adult literature?
3. Why are you excited to read this book?
Anything else that is relevant is welcome!
