Support for Indie Authors discussion

On two of my books I got a four star rating for each of them from someone, but goodreads doesn't show me who gave it to me at the bottom. They just appear at the top saying I have two four star ratings, but I can only account for one person giving me a four star rating. The only reason I care is because I want to know if people think my stories are good, and if they're not how to improve them. So, I'm worried this being caused by some weird glitch. Has this happen to anyone's books here?

In my experience, it takes a day or two for the ratings/reviews to show in the list, even though you see that you have the rating in your book stats.

You didn't say how long ago the ratings occurred, but if it's recent, it sometimes takes Goodreads awhile to catch up. Give it a few days.

Yep. Like everyone is saying, Goodreads will sometimes wonk out for a few hours after you get a review or rating. Sometimes it will count them twice, sometimes you can see the rating but not the review, sometimes you can't see them at all. Be patient... and wait for those days when you get several in one day and see how crazy it gets.

Thanks you for the advice. It's been a few days already, but I will see if anything happens in a few more. I'm just glad it not some weird glitch.

There are actually some glitches with the review system at present, but they're working on it. (There's a discussion in the Goodreads Author Feedback group, with responses from Goodreads staff.)
