1.'J' is for June: Read a book that starts with 'J' or a book whose author's first or last name starts with 'J'.
2. Member of the Month - Ty: Ty has been a member of the RRRC since February 2012. Link to Ty's shelves. Please read a book from any of Ty's shelves or a book published in 2012 or a book published in February of any year.
3. Geography: Read a book whose author, character or setting is from Indonesia.
Fun Facts:
- Indonesia is made of 17,508 islands of which only 6000 are inhabited by people (which means great beaches)
- Indonesia is known for its rich Biodiversity - second only to Brazil.
- Indonesia is also part of Pacific Ring of Fire, volcano Group.
Read a book that has a beach on the cover or a book with animals or a book with fire on title/cover.
4. Repeat Day (June 3): Read a book where the first letter of the author's first and last name are the same (Ex: Lora Leigh, Julie James, Shannon Stacey) OR the first letters of words in the title are the same. You can ignore a, an & the if you wish. (Ex: Ella Enchanted, Hush, Hush, Pride and Prejudice)
5. Summer Solstice: Read a book with summer in title or takes place during Summer or with a bright cover using light blue or green or yellows or white color
6. Sixth Month: Read a book that is #6 in a series or has Six in title or has six words in title.
7. International Fairy Day (June 24): Read a book that has fae, fairies or a book with "Magic" Genre or a book which has the word "Magic" in title.
8. Juno, Goddess of Marriage: Read a book where the main theme is marriage i.e features a marriage of convenience, couple that is already married etc.
9. Dare Day (June 1): Read a book that is outside your comfort zone (like genre) or a book from a new-to-you author.
10. Reader's Choice: Read any book of your choice
Challenge Duration: June 1 to June 30, 2014
You can choose 3, 5, 8 or all 10 categories depending on your reading speed, book availability and/or time commitment.
