Kyle - I like Rachel Caine's Weather Wardens. I've got the whole series but I've only read the first two so far. It's a little different.

I can't wait to get Hunting Ground.

I'm not sure how many I have bought so far this month, I think just the 6 that I just ordered online yesterday from bookdepository.com.... but I"m sure I'll be buying more soon!!:)

I could not help myself. 92 Pacific Boulevard by Debbie Macomber came out today. I had to go get it. It will be next to read after finishing High Noon by Nora Roberts. I am about 1/3 way through it. Oh, bought Debbie M. book at Target 30% off.

I just looked at their site again and found seven more books I want at 50% off but I'm going to try to make it until Sept. before I buy them.

Looloo, I hate to say it, but if you really want those books and can afford to do so, I'd suggest you buy them now. The 50% deal may not be theire in Sept. My mom taught me when you see a great deal and really want the product, grab it when you see it or you risk losing both.

By the way, have you used Book Depository before? I mean, how reliable is it? It just kind of seems too good to be true.

Ilean, I thought that was what this group was supposed to be for ;-), but instead we do seem to help each other spend more rather than less, don't we? lol :-)

Joseph, I placed my first and only order (so far)after someone here mentioned the sight. I ordered three books on 8/13 - one book arrived on 8/21, one arrived 8/25 and I'm still waiting for the third book. They ship as they are available apparently. Remember they are coming from the UK so they may take a little longer.

So if I go ahead and order the books I want will you take the heat from my husband? I've already bought 60+ books this month (of course he doesn't know that). They probably won't arrive until next month so I could lump them into next month's purchases. LOL!

No more from Book Depository for the moment, but I did succumb to my Achille's heal again and picked up two more from the used book shelf at my library:

I buy most of my books from Barnes and Noble.com. I probably bought about 30 books in August. I don't think thats too bad. So far I have bought 2 books in September. I bought Darkfever and Santa Olivia.
