Theme Parks:

As the name may suggest, we will be exploring certain themes / topics through books for these 4 squares:

T: Valentine's Day - Caregiving by Amy (for having read the most number of books since the beginning of Bookopoly 2016)
T: Thanksgiving Day - Opposites by Lusie & Marina (for joining Bookopoly 2016 midway and read an astonishing number of books in that time)
T: Christmas - Law & Order by Matt (for joining in at the beginning of Bookopoly 2016 and slowly but steadily reading through his tbr!)
T: Halloween – Diversity by Moderators of Pick-a-Shelf

The holidays are what the squares are called on the actual Peanuts Monopoly board however for the purpose of the challenge, we are calling them Theme Parks. The topic ideas are suggested by moderators and the abovementioned participants of Bookopoly 2016.

There are 18 tasks (over 3 different levels) per Theme Park:

Easy: tasks that may be easily completed from participant’s bookopoly shelf

Moderate: tasks that may require participants to look outside of bookopoly shelf or further afield

Hard: tasks that may require a rather intensive research to complete (or maybe not; this will depend on the individual)

You may choose which task to complete. However, we would encourage you to complete different tasks each time you land on the same Theme Park square.
