THE Group for Authors! discussion

Okay, I logged into my author page and found a book attributed to me that I did not write! Has anyone had this happen? The book I wrote is The Girl Who Swam to Atlantis.
I'm not even going to name the other book, but it's there on my page much to my puzzlement, frustration, and annoyance. I want the other book to go away!

I have heard a few other people say this happened. You may have to find someone with a Librarian status to fix it (there are librarian groups)

Elle, the other author has the same name, and it has to be disambiguated by a librarian. The librarian's group is at this link:

Join that group and post the issue there, and they will fix it by placing an extra space in one of your names to separate the author records. (It won't display the extra space on the site, it just keeps them separate in the database.)

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Just getting your feedback made me feel less upset and more positive.

I did alert a librarian and have since been told to contact goodreads support [email protected]

So now we all know what to do if this sort of situation arises again.
