Krysta (booksaremyfavthing) | 74 comments I read this for my week 21 book. It was recommended by Goodreads based off of my 2016-challenge shelf. It was okay. Not the best, not the worst.

Rachel A. (abyssallibrarian) | 3270 comments I read this for "a book about sports" for my Book Riot challenge. I don't usually enjoy reading about sports, but I do tend to enjoy thrillers so I thought this would be a good balance. I thought it was pretty good, but also fairly predictable. I thought the plot was interesting, but I thought the writing could have been a little stronger in places.

Jean Cole (joc724) | 324 comments I read this for Week 8 ATY 2019, second of two books in the same genre. In this case crime / mystery / suspense.
This novel takes the reader behind the scenes at the top level of competitive gymnastics, and it's not a pretty picture. Throw in the hit-and-run death of a very good-looking young man and that's where the mystery unfolds. Who hit him and drove away? His highly emotional girlfriend, or perhaps an angry parent or spouse? In the end, I felt rather unsatisfied.
