I'm a PhD student at University of Bristol researching trends in genre book publishing and perception of speculative fiction genre. As a part of my research, I hope to look at Goodreads bookshelf/genre data to see how people use genre labels and compare it to the way publishers use genre labels.
Specifically, I would like to look up all the books under certain bookshelves/tags, as well as all tags/bookshelves attributed to specific titles (I'm currently working with 5000 titles, but depending on my results, I might want to expand that). I looked at the API documentation and could not find a method that would reflect what I'm looking for, however, I have no prior experience with your API and am not sure what is and isn't possible. Either way, I feel that it would be a great help to have access to Goodreads API; please let me know if that would be possible and would give me access to the kind of data I'm interested in.
