Grace (fictionaladventures) | 5 comments Please tell me if this YA book idea sounds like something you'd be interested in reading (be as brutally honest as possible!):

Cass loves Christmas, but she's lived in Florida all her life, so she's never seen snow. When she finds out that one of her neighbors, Jeremiah, is going on a road trip to New York to spend Christmas with his brother, she tags along, telling her parents she's staying with a friend only an hour away from home. Cass thinks this is the perfect opportunity to get her first white Christmas. On the way to New York, Cass and Jeremiah can't deny the attraction between them, but when Cass finds out that Jeremiah's brother—the one they're on their way to visit—is the guy who broke her heart last summer, she's not so sure this is a good idea anymore. Not to mention the fact that there's no way she can keep this secret from her parents for long...

Sushant Sawant (sushantsawant) | 11 comments This plot looks pretty interesting. This one is a great idea but the execution is really crucial....as I feel it will be the execution which will really matter in this one.

How you handle the different twists element in the plot is very important. For eg. interaction of Cass and Jeremiah's brother and also interaction of Cass with her parents will be very critical.

If not properly conceptualized, the entire book could be a disaster (Just because you told us to be brutally honest).

Hope this helps and all the best with your story.

Heidi Angell (heidiangell) | 82 comments how does she know this boy well enough to be comfortable going on a road trip with him, but doesn't know he is the brother of the guy who broke her heart? This seems very unlikely. Maybe if they were half brothers, or cousins I would buy it. Still, if I were going on a road trip with a friend, I would want to know more about who we were staying with before I went. But then I was a ridiculously responsible teen, so maybe I was weird in that regard. IDK.

Dawn West (uptildawnbookblog) | 1 comments It sounds interesting to me but I do foresee a dreaded love triangle here and that would turn me off to it. Personally, I would prefer that the conflict arise from the reunion with the heartbreaker and not from the affection for two people.

Nicole (nics2) | 44 comments I really liked the twist but I felt like the reason she is doing this is quite ... Weird ? I mean, you could make up a more reasonable reason.

However it felt interesting and as I don't really have high standards for contemporary books I think I would enjoy it

Alex (alex1320) | 32 comments It sounds great for me:) I think I'd read it if I got a chance but inside of the book like plot and the way it is written decides if book is good.
