How often do you find someone else's book mirroring something in your own life? I've had the most interesting experience with that today, so much so that I wrote about it in my Goodreads blog. How often does this happen?

No, that's never happened to me, but I've experienced many instances of synchronicity of other kinds.

Not sure too often, but happens. I recall Grisham describing life of legal interns was quite similar to my own at the time...

Yes! A new song comes out that describes some aspect of life at that time.

after that I'd been looking for more songs that related to how I've felt and stuff, and I found some and they helped me a lot. I listen to music a lot

I believe that one can quickly relate to what may have been written in many books, songs and movies. It's not necessarily what has been said, but how it has been worded. It's what I call the beauty and the challenge of the art of writing, making a difference.
