Depends on Pranjali and Aarti!! I'm always ready.

Gorab (itsgorab) | 3110 comments Read the chapter on Devyani and here I ponder again....

Why is it always someone else taking a major decision and putting a person's life at stake? [What Sharmishtha's father did here... What Yudhishthir did while playing chaupar..... Dashrath to Rama... ]

There are countless examples of this which is quite understandable. But what I don't understand is the lack of a counter-example wherein someone stood up against this!

That's the case most of the times but there are also people who stood up like Krishna

Gorab (itsgorab) | 3110 comments Any examples you know of when Krishna stood up against what was commenced on him by his father or elder bro or anyone?

Pranjali | 767 comments Am still at 20% :/
didn't get lot of reading time and seems like will be even more busy in coming days........so I will be sloth-ing with this :(

@rti- how much have you read?

Gorab (itsgorab) | 3110 comments I'm at 70% and loving it :)
Would be done by this weekend. Will keep discussing as you progress Pran. No hurries :)

Gorab (itsgorab) | 3110 comments Couldn't read much last week. At 80% and yet again will try wrapping it up by this weekend.

Devyani is vilified since her intro. And its interesting to see her point of view also. But feel the writing is negatively biased even when Devyani is narrating.
Nevertheless... enjoying it very much so far.

K is the best character and whose talks I could easily connect most of the times.

Gorab (itsgorab) | 3110 comments Its very easy to influence my thinking. Now with Mandar, I'm able to relate to his thinking and find that logical.... which is in contrast to Kacha's.

What interesting dilemmas for Yayati among these two :)
