Simon doesn't die, does he? I'm just starting the epilogue, but I'm reading it tomorrow because I'm completely drained (no pun intended!) As far as I know what's happened - up to the epilogue - is that Clary, Jace, Alec, Isabelle, Magnus, and Simon were trapped in Edom, the demon realm, because Sebastian closed the wards between the worlds to prevent them from returning to Idris.
So there was no way for them to get back. Magnus summoned his father and asked a favour - if he could create a portal thingie and send them through. It came with a price: his father wanted Magnus's immortality, but Simon stepped in and said he was immortal also. In the end his father took away Simon's memories and his immortality and sent the others back to Idris.
Shit! I ruined it. Well, you don't know who Magus's father is, so ...
what r the odds of him appearing In TDA?

I know. So will I. I kept crying. When Clary was in Alicante and she sprinkled Sebastian's ashes over Lake Lyn. That's what he would've wanted.

I admire Clary. Always have. But I can never forgive her for what she did. I know she had reason to do it. But Sebastian just admitted he was in love with her and then she killed him. Kind of.
Not quite the response he was looking for. If someone had just loved him, Jocelyn or Clary or even bloody Jace, she could have saved him.

I think I've recovered from the shock. I still can't bear to think about it, otherwise I'll just break down in tears. I don't know why, but I didn't cry that much about Simon. It just seemed right and what he'd always wanted. Look at the vision he had when he first entered the demon realm: he was famous, a mundane. Yeah, there was Clary and Izzy, but I've just never considered him part of their clique.
how r clary and izzy dealing with it?
Not too great. I've just started the epilogue, and Simon has named his band The Mortal Instruments.

the way I see it clary is the worst thing that happened to Simon.
