This movie is coming out later this year, and I just posted the video to the group page. Has anyone read it yet? I look forward to reading it soon, the movie preview looks AMAZING!

I need to read the book too, but with all the books I am trying to get through right now it is hard. It has also been a great summer so far in Bellingham(WA state), so I have been reading less... Kind of a bummer, but it means I am out on fun adventures! ;)

Vi | 1 comments I'm so excited the movie is coming out!i loved the book the first time but since it's been a while I should reread it :)

Bookloverhugger aka:Rebecca | 155 comments i found the trailer to this quite confusing, i mean shes unconsious, yet she is watching that guys look at her?

Z R (zuleymie) | 20 comments Very excited about this movie! But also nervous about how it's going to turn out. And to answer your question the book is based on an accident and the aftermath which leaves her in a coma she's having that "out of body" experience that a lot of movies do. I hope that made sense I didn't want to go into detail afraid I might accidentally spoil something.

Z R (zuleymie) | 20 comments Oh also I found the second book in the series, Where She Went, extremely good! Loved every word and ended up finishing it in one day cause I couldn't put it down. I hope there will be a movie for this book in the future.

Alita (thelasthorcrux) | 13 comments I hope the movie meets my expectations because this is one of my favorite books!

Ashton Jade Gibbs (ashtongibbs) | 1 comments I've just seen the advert for this at the cinema and it looks like a very moving story and probably a great film, though as always I will be investing in the book before watching the movie! :)

Samantha (sammylancaster) | 31 comments One of my favorites:)

The movie looks like it will live up to the book too!

message 15: by Mckinna (new) - added it

I saw the preview on tv a few times this last week and I really want to read the book, I just need more hours of the day for sure!! haha In some ways it reminds me of Lovely Bones but with more focus on the love story than stuff with family and everything. Should be a good one for sure though. The book at least, I never hold hopes for emotional books being made into movies. They always turn them into straight up chick flicks... :(

Danelia (daneliaxoxo) I am actually in the middle of reading it right now and so far i LOVE IT! Hopefully I will be finishing it later today. So excited for the movie to come out! ... yes I will admit, the trailer made me cry so wish me luck on finishing the rest of the novel.

The preview is super charged with emotion! I was getting quite into just from the trailer, so I know when I read it, it will be quite the emotional roller coaster! :)

Ashley Fenton | 1 comments I loved this book and can't wait to see the movie, but the 2nd book was stupid

message 20: by Caitlin "Sparkie" (last edited Aug 08, 2014 04:16PM) (new) - rated it 3 stars

Caitlin "Sparkie" (csparkiem) I love both books!!! Can't wait to see the movie, the only thing I am scared about is the book is basically a bunch of flashbacks so I don't know how they are going to do it without making it choppy

Hajar Chaouki (hajarmanostalgie) | 1 comments I watched the movie it was greaat ! but i think the book is pretty much amazing since they didn't mention and changed a lot of things .... But still it was well played :)

Audra (DivergentHungerGames22) I am reading the book already saw the movie. I don't know what I was thinking about doing that though.

Perksofbeingnerdy | 20 comments I read the book and enjoyed it. Anyone recommend the movie?

The movie is amazing. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good movie.

Victoria Scott I've just recently finished the book, and it wasn't as emotional as I expected it to be. I think it'll portray we'll as a movie, and be almost sadder

Audra (DivergentHungerGames22) I am reading the book now. I know, I shouldn't watch the movie before I read the book. I tried not to, but I couldn't resist.

Raneem Abo Rmaila (raneem212) | 25 comments It was a good novel, the movie was good too.

Samantha | 1 comments I saw this movie it was good! I also play cello

message 29: by Jennie (new) - added it

Jennie | 2 comments I saw the movie first before reading the book (I know). I thought the book was really well written, I stayed up until 3am reading it. The movie stayed close to the book which I always love but definitely read the book before the movie.

Courtney (swimgirl32) | 1 comments I read the book shortly before watching the movie, and was honestly disappointed by the screen version. I loved how the book included a romance, but also showed Mia's love and compassion towards her family. The movie however, focused mainly on Mia's love for Adam, instead of her love for all the other people in her life.

message 31: by Tia (new) - rated it 5 stars

Tia | 1 comments I read this book a few years ago so I knew what the movie would be about. I am always disappointed when they make movies from books. This book grabbed me and made me feel the emotions so how making me connect with Mia, where the movie did not, maybe because I read the book. But I always think the books are better because I create my own movie in my head as I read.

Stephanie Lingenfelter (stephanielingenfelter) Courtney wrote: "I read the book shortly before watching the movie, and was honestly disappointed by the screen version. I loved how the book included a romance, but also showed Mia's love and compassion towards he..."

I think it would be kind of hard to do that with the particular style of the movie and the time limit.

message 33: by Meka (new) - rated it 5 stars

Meka Ok i love this movie.. the only thing that was a let down is when they didnt put my favorite part in the movie

message 34: by Manal (new)

message 35: by Lyra (new) - rated it 3 stars

Lyra (lyramarvelle) | 25 comments I haven't seen the movie yet, but I read the book, and it was okay...

message 36: by Harmony (new)

Harmony (harmonylower) | 3 comments i have only read part of the book and i have seen the movie and it was very confusing i had to watch the movie like three times before i understood it.

message 37: by ricab3lls (new)

ricab3lls (annyeongbada) | 10 comments I haven't read the book actually, but I've seen the movie. It was good! I liked it. But its just i think there are parts lacking from the movie? Or not? That i dont know. But anyways, i wanna see what will happen on Where She Went.

Carley Conover (carley2026) | 2 comments I wish they would make a movie on Where She Went. I haven't read WSW yet but I plan to and I rather enjoy movies after reading fantastic books. I LOVED this book and I think the movie did it justice. (Although the book it always better in my opinion because the plot is correct, movies leave things out, and books have more detail.) Although, this movie was one that was very enjoyable especially as a YA myself.
