Before the Games, Ever was a sweet, carefree girl who only vaguely understood the world and how wrong it was. After her Games, however, Ever understood far too much about the meaning of sacrifice. The meaning of life and death. Mainly death. The only reason she won was a selfless girl with a giant heart. Ever never killed a soul in the arena except her own.
When Ever left the arena, she became a different person than before. She wanted to have control over her feelings, her dreams, and her memories. But this was impossible, so she learned to lash out at anybody who wanted to hurt her.
All she ever wanted was an ending. She willed it to be a bad one, a deadly one, and she set up barriers against every other emotion she could ever feel. All she ever wanted was an ending...
But her torture would never be over. As long as she could ever live, they would preserve her. Shattered, insane, the Capitol wouldn't care; she was a victor, and that was their job. They were paid to be broken.
History:
Ever had always been a simple, under-fed, young girl from the Seam of District Twelve. She was Reaped from the bowl with only one extra slip for the 59th Hunger Games. The way she made it to the end was unprecedented, for she had no kills at all. She didn't touch but one person while in the arena, and injured nobody. She was protected by an extremely heart-sick girl from District Four who lost her only sister just hours before the Reaping. The girl's name was Finladia, and, being from a career district, she knew how to fight.
Finladia shielded Ever from anything that wanted to hurt her, placing herself in all the danger, just to protect her like she was unable to protect her sister. It didn't hurt that she could handle a trident like no other, either. Come final three, it was only Ever, Finladia, and the boy from District One left vying for the crown. Finladia put Ever to bed that night and went off on her own to end it all. After a couple hours, Ever was awakened by trumpets of victory, bewildered and despairing.
It wasn't until they aired her interview that she saw what had played out; Finladia had sacrificed her life to pull the boy from District One into a sea of flesh-eating muttations, thus leaving Ever as the only remaining tribute to receive the crown.
And Ever was absolutely horrified. She vowed never to put anybody in a position like that again. She vowed to put herself in the way, to pose as much a problem as possible for the Capitol, because that was the day she realized that nobody should ever have to die in such a horrible way for such a horrible cause. Ever.
Family:
Her mother starved herself watching the 59th Games; she was dead before Ever even made it back home, and her father had died years prior from an accident in the mine. In the twenty years since, Ever has only added to her loss, bringing the last forty-two tributes home in wooden boxes.

Strategy: She didn't have one, but Finladia had everything planned out.
Strengths: Saying things straight, combat, reading emotions, and defending those she loves, which includes only two people a year.
Weaknesses: Sugar-coating, holding onto hope, and staying cheerful.

Personality: the Dr. is very into his mentoring, and he hates when his tributes are dead. Sadly, he is the youngest victor,(without the exception of the 12 year old that won last year) so he has to be the one to mentor. He can't wait till the 12 year old turns 16 and can take over. He is very smart and kind. He never even thought about turning to alcohol or mophling.
History: Dr. Pheber had a younger sister, but (he believes the capital is behind it) she "mysteriously" got reaped the next year. she died in the games. His parents are fine and like to spoil the tributes, making them cookies and such. "They deserve some lux before they go to the gallows." they say.

Personality: It's complicated... She seems very preppy and upbeat, but that's just her "method". Every victor has one. A way to forget the games. She loses herself in a perky and happy person that's nothing like her true self
History: She didn't have that bad of a childhood. She was a part of the rich sector of her district. Then when she was 16, she was reaped for the games. She won, and went to live in the Capitol. She married a rich Capitol man, who died. (She couldn't stand him. The murderer was never caught...)

Strategy: She made the Capitol fall in love with her. Every one. In her interview, she expressed her love for the Capitol lifestyle, and how simply awful it was that she wouldn't be able to see more of it. She dressed like them, talked like them, acted like them. She made them feel like she was one of their own going into the arena. She won off of sponsors. She had no need or want for anything in the arena. She only killed two. One in the bloodbath as she tried to escape, and one at the end. She stabbed him in his sleep.
Strengths: Acting, people underestimating her
Weaknesses: She's just acting. She hates who she's pretending to be.

Full Name: Lana Trinity PhoenixName Meaning: Lana means light or torch, giving her an innocent, but vibrant way. Trinity means three in one, which doesn't affect her at all, or so she thinks... Phoenix is the bird that is reborn from it's own ashes, which is why she is so strong.
Nickname: Laney, only if she trusts you.

Birthday: She was never told, but she celebrates on January first of every year.
Personality: Lana had multiple personality disorder, she is either pyschotic, super talented, or just herself, an edgy, strong, independent girl, when she is herself, she is just Lana, or Lana Trinity. When she is her psychotic side, she is Ebony. When she is the super intelligent and talented, she is Hailey. After they went away, she was a more enhanced version of herself, somewhat mixing all those personalities together, at the same time, balanced, like a normal person.

Ebony: Very similar to Lana's
History: Lana was always a lonely child. Her mom died when she was younger and it seemed like her father blamed her for it, but it wasn't, she died of a rare disease. Her father became worse and started beating her, until he finally dumped her at an orphanage at 12. She got adopted at the age of 14, her adopters from District 2 (Original district: 7). Her new parents were nice and loving people, but she always shut them out, scared of what happened to her before would happen to her again. This is when her multiple personalities started to appear (after the abuse from her father, they started), she never noticed, she just thought she had blackouts, which still isn't good, but she didn't care much. Her new parents were scared, but didn't tell her what was wrong. She didn't find out about them until one day, her parents told her that she seemed different sometimes, but they didn't tell her exactly what was wrong. She was reaped at age 17, she won the games, even though she wasn’t the most liked tribute. After the games, her personalities became milder until they completely stoppped.
