“You're either on the bus or off the bus.”
There was another quote I found quite profound, but am unable to locate it again.
"the perfect anti-cure for what ailed the men on this ward" (quote about state hospital.
I don't have a lot of quotes but here I things I appreciated
I liked the list of who's who in the book.
I liked learning about LSD and that it wasn't illegal until 1966.
I liked the references to One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and to Sometimes a Great Notion.
I found it interesting that Kesey liked the Captain Marvel, superhero characters.
I liked the reference to Childhood's End
What I did not like
I didn't like the wasted lives
I didn't like the sordidness
I didn't like the Day Glo madness
Driving under the influence
Using drugs while pregnant
