I will try and go for 150 books in 2017, including graphic novels and big comics collections.

Furthermore I will try to read more books that will fit this group, as I often end up with more thrillers than anything else. So I will try for 25 of those, hope you will help me find the ones that fits :-)

Ah, my overall goal isn't that impressive when you factor in the single issue comics; I currently try and read one a day before work to stop them piling up. Some of them can be very light reading depending on the title haha.

And I'm sure the group will help you with finding some interesting horrors to meet your goal. I know my wishlist has practically doubled since I joined this group!

Yeah, ok I see that is a big difference. I often read three or more graphic novels in collections with behind the scenes info and lots of unpublished stuff. And I count them as one album, but it takes a while to read.

I'm not really needing ideas for new books (have over 4000 on my tbr...), more genre issues - not sure what belongs in which group. But I guess I can ask as the need arises :-) Anyway, just wants to give this genre a little boost in my reading.
And I totally agree that this group is really good (or bad as you see it...) for the tbr.

I surpassed my goal this year by reading like 104 books or so, so I want to aim for 105 books TOTAL this year, which will include the challenges here at HA and also the 'Around the World in 52 Books' Challenge I am doing with a different group. Ahhh! Pressure! BUT, as an English teacher, I DO have so so so many books that I own and have not gotten to read yet- when I see great looking book for sale, I buy, always. I have done a 100 book goal for 2 prior years. It is my sweet spot, when I reach 100, I then pick a very long book that I have been putting off.

A Little Silver Book of Sharp Shiny Slivers is part of Borderlands Press’ limited edition Little Book series. You can see a listing of them here. The Hill volume is unfortunately now sold out. (I’m on the publishers mailing list and so was able to pre-order a copy.) But I suspect that a fair portion of horror aficionados would find Silver disappointing. With one or possibly two exceptions, the entries are essays rather than short fiction. Fortunately, I like that kind of stuff and found this brief volume to be extremely readable; I think I knocked it off in a couple of afternoon sittings.
