For example, mine is a magnified picture of a frozen soap bubble. I could interpret it as ice, or alien landscape, or bubble. 1/12
Shadow Study by Maria V. Snyder (Jan 31 - Feb 8/17)

Question #37 - favourite author
I had listed Maria V. Snyder as one of my favourite authors and was SO glad to dive into one of her books again after a few years of not reading anything by her - and now I have more to look forward to by her as well!

2/12
First Frost by Sarah Addison Allen (Feb 9 - Feb 15/17)

Question #40 - favourite fruit - read a book with that fruit on the cover
I had chosen apple as my favourite fruit, and this book not only had an apple on the cover but I also had to include the book for this choice, because of the series' famous tree that throws apples at people (view spoiler) - so how could I not pick it? hehe I loved finding the second book of this series (this one) - and I think I enjoyed it more than the first, which I had read some time ago.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

3/12
Wizard by John Varley (Feb 15 - Mar 16, 2017)

Question #6 - What is your favourite book.
I chose this book because it was written by the author of one of my favourite books. Personally I preferred the first book of the series - but it was worth a try!

4/12
Stray by Rachel Vincent (April 13 - 24, 2017)

Question #25- favourite genre
I had been vague on my pick - I had originally written "all Fiction ... not really picky... and will read anything... if I had to choose one, maybe Fantasy or Dystopian" - and decided to go with the more specific category of Fantasy, since it fit within my original pick and was more narrow of a focus. This book was definitely better than I expected it to be - I loved the main character.

5/12
Night Study by Maria V. Snyder (April, 2017)

Question #15 - your shoe size
I chose this book because at the time, this book was #10 on my TBR list (my shoe size) - I loved this book! Especially because I found out the reason why she lost her powers (view spoiler) ["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

6/12
Speechless by Hannah Harrington (July 12 - 14, 2017)

Question #45 - Do you prefer green or black olives? Neither?
I chose "neither" as my answer and that meant I had to read a book with a predominantly white cover. So I headed over to the listopia and found this on it - and checked it out via my online library source - and it was REALLY good! I love love how challenges like this would get me to search out a book I never would have found otherwise! Anyways - it's definitely white!

7/12
Empire of Shadows by Miriam Forster (Sept 3-4, 2017)

Question #7 - Pick a number between 1 & 10.
I chose #2 as my answer - and this was the 2nd book of the series. I love how it secretly tied in to the 1st book but was a good standalone book.

8/12
Rush by Eve Silver (September, 2017)

Question #28 - Do you prefer Classic or Contemporary?
I chose Contemporary - which meant that I had to read a book publishes in 2000 - 2017 and this book was published in 2013. (And I ended up reading the next 2 books in the series too - it was REALLY unique!)

9/12
Firstlife by Gena Showalter (Sept 11-17, 2017)

Question #3 - What colour are your eyes?
My answer for this was "Changes between green and blue", so I picked a cover with a greeny-blue cover (teal?) hehe. Again another series that I inhaled the next book and placed the 3rd on my TBR for when it comes out. (And if this cover doesn't suffice, the 2nd one in the series does:

10/12
Lair of the Lion by Christine Feehan (Oct 1 - Oct 7, 2017)

Question #46 - What is your Zodiac sign?
My Zodiac sign is Leo - so I picked a book with a lion in the title AND as one of the main characters.

11/12
Naomi's Gift by Amy Clipston (Dec 6 - 13, 2017)

Question #8 - What is your favourite holiday?
I chose Christmas as my favourite holiday and read this book because it was set during Christmas.

12/12
Single Witch's Survival Guide by Mindy Klasky

I answered as "single" (and sadly, still am) - so I read this book since it has the word "single" in the title.
