I'm pretty new to the site, so I'm not sure how you specifically handle such situations, but according to the guidelines:
Quote: "All editions should have the primary author name as the standard or most common Roman (that is, English-language) version of the author's name."
Does that mean the two pages should be combined (or linked, or merged).

I think the first four entries need to be merged in order to create a romanized name for the author and than link it to the last entry, which is the same author with the name in Cyrillic.

Can you delete the one with the jeans on the cover? The correct one has her on the cover and the correct subtitle.
But, both need to change the title to:
The Middle Matters

It does not mean the author pages should be merged. It means that the book record should have "Kojima Miu" listed as the primary author and the Japanese name should be listed as the secondary author (as they are listed in Double Secret). The author pages stay separate.
So all of the books under the Japanese name should list Kojima Miu as the primary author instead.
That way, a user can visit either author page and still see the books.

The first three should be merged (you are correct) into the most complete name that is on one of the book covers if it is. The Cyrillic name should be listed as secondary author. The Cyrillic author page should not be merged with the others.
