Tara (mrstarax) | 2 comments Hi all. I am quite new to the thriller genre. I've mostly read young adult books but I am ready to read something more challenging/interesting. The thing is, I sometimes struggle with adult books. I don't like books that are too wordy etc. Instead I prefer books that are easy to follow. Can anyone recommend some easy to read thrillers/mysteries to get me going? I am currently reading The Girls Next Door by Mel Sherratt and I'm loving it.
Thank you

Devan Chavez (devanj) | 18 comments Hey there! Mark Edwards is pretty easy to read for me his book Follow You Home is very well done IMO.

Gillian Flynn is where I started. Love her books.

Hope that helps a little :)

Thomas (tom471) | 2007 comments Elmore Leonard and Robert B. Parker both write books with short sentences and lean dialogue. I have read all of their books.

Think of it like a psychological thriller with a couple of soft twists...

J.S. Bell (jsbellauthor) | 29 comments The Nicoles, will be released soon. Hopefully by the end of May. It is a psychological thriller circling around the tragedies happening in mental institutions.
