Laurel (lmalialis) | 1 comments I just wanted to say that I'm doing the Pop Sugar Challenge for my second year, and I was lurking on this thread to get some ideas for books as some of the topics are really specific!

I started reading The Bees by Laline Paull first suggested by Michelle and then Caly on here and I have to say it is a really intriguing book. Totally not something I would have normally picked on my own (which is a big reason why I enjoy these challenges).

Thanks everyone for posting your books. I will continue to lurk :)

I'm loving it. It's a good one this year. I suppose it will get tougher as the year goes on and there's less to choose from but that makes it even better for me! Found a great-looking book for the over 800 page challenge today too.

Way to go! My reading is a bit slow going at the moment (lots of books started, not so many finished). So far I haven't really planned my reads for this challenge, I just read whatever & see where it fits. I have a feeling though that some of these challenges I am going to have to put some more effort & planning into! :/

Thanks, Kirsten. Most of mine have just fit in fortunately. I have a lot of books read because I just did a read-a-thon and read a bunch of books in one week. I will have some books that I'll have to plan out later, but I'm not putting too much effort into this one. Mostly, I'm just trying to have fun with it.

I go through phases too where I have a lot of books unfinished. My current state has been feeling a bit meh about all the books I'm reading. Hopefully, you'll find something soon that really grabs your attention and you speed right through it.

Kristie | 5928 comments Funny... I never even thought about a lion or tiger, etc for the cat cover. It's your challenge, so I suppose if that's the way you interpret it, go ahead. It didn't state that it had to be a domesticated cat.
