Charlotte Wildflower | 11 comments Someone has added an audiobook edition of The Dollhouse by Fiona Davis as a completely separate book. No information or cover, just a rating.

The real version has 8 different editions, and this one (from "Books on Tape") is already there.

My problem is: I can't seem to combine them.

I know that it should be merged with the other version, and for that reason I have separated the "Books on tape" edition from the other Dollhouse editions, but can't seem to finish the job.

Please help, as it is now a half done effort. Maybe someone else has had this problem, because on the solo edition there is a Librarian's note that there are several authors by the same name, which is not true...

Abcdarian | 26579 comments It is true actually. Fiona Davis/Fiona Davis Moved the edition to the correct author profile, merged, and recombined.

Charlotte Wildflower | 11 comments Yeah, that there are two Fiona Davis's but not two that have written Dollhouse which is what it seemed like when written on the errant copy.

What you did doesn't seem right at all, and not at what I asked for.
Now there is a solo "Dollhouse"edition on Fiona Kirks profile, which I don't get at all!?

It needs to be merged with The Dollhouse that is already there, and then deleted, not just moved around.

Um, this is the first time you mention a Dollhouse edition by Fiona Kirk. You were talking about Fiona Davis previously. How are we supposed to know what you mean? Please supply links in future, we are not mind readers.

Anyway, here is The Dollhouse by Fiona Kirk: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
Why do you think it should be Fiona Davis?

As it was the same Fiona Davis as who had written all editions, it couldn't be moved to the correct author. Therefore it seems like it what I asked wasn't done, as I wanted it merged with the existing.
And now I find there is a Dollhouse version under Fiona Kirk? Who writes diet books.

Abcdarian | 26579 comments There was an edition on the other Fiona Davis profile as well, which I moved. And merged. As lethe mentioned, you're safer using links to the books you're referencing.

I just mentioned it now because it just appeared in my search now. It seemed like a mistake, but it is not the same apparently errant version I found earlier, as this isn't an audiobook.

I didn't think links were necessary as it was the only two Dollhouse versions said to be written by Fiona Davis, and one clearly a duplicate. Not much mind reading needed. But now it seems to become more complicated.

Ok, then it seems like you did do what I asked :-) Thanks.
I just found the Fiona Kirk "Dollhouse" right after, so was a bit exasperated with it all. Another "no cover, no info and only one rating" version.

The funny thing is I don't even know the author or the book, but now I don't think I will forget it.
