Halifa Iddris | 5 comments Hi , My name is Halifa and I am new on Epic Reads FIRST 5.. I read a few chapters of this book and I think it's going to be a good read.

Has anyone read it yet ? What is your take on it ?

***************

It started off a bit slow and meandering, but I think it may turn out to be pretty solid as it progresses. It's an interesting subject at any rate.

Mona (readingfrk) | 12 comments OMG. You've opened Pandora's box! LOL

You can friend me on GR and take a look at my bookshelf. I read a wide variety, but since I write YA and NA, I tend to gravitate that direction right now. (Not published yet.)

Do you prefer contemporary, paranormal, steampunk, or historical? Young adult, new adult, adult? I read it all.

Anything by Sarah J. Maas is good. Right now I'm listening to The Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johanson.

In contemporary YA, Stephanie Perkins, Jennifer Lynn Barnes, Stacey Kade, Katie McGarry, and Simone Elkeles top my list.

In NA, Lexi Ryan, Jamie McGuire, Chanel Cleeton, Jennifer Armentrout (aka J. Lynn), Cora Cormack, Sophie Jordan, and several others I can't remember off the top of my head are good choices.

I'm a pretty tough sell, so whenever I check out the reviews, I make sure to read the bad ones, too. Those usually tell me if the 5-star reviews were deserved or just hyped up fans.

I can overlook a few spelling errors, but incorrectly used words will kill my interest. And then there are the rare books that are so good I'll overlook anything. They don't come along very often. :)

Mona (readingfrk) | 12 comments Okay, I may have overdone it. I sent you a friend request then found the button to add you as a friend. GR reminded me that I'd already sent a request. LOL
