Making a shelf



FIRST, make sure the book is eligible for leading. To check, you need to go to Amazon and click on the book page and scroll down until you see the product description. It looks like this...

For titles you already own, you can check the "Manage Your Content and Devices". Click on the "Actions" button all the way on the left side. This will tell if the book is eligible to loan.


SECOND, to create your own exclusive shelf for "Kindle book for loan" (or whatever you want to label it as).

1) Click on My Books in the header.
2) Next to the "bookshelves" header on the left, click the small "edit" link.
3) On the top of the page, type "Kindle books to loan" into the "add a shelf" feature.
4) You have now made a shelf.

THIRD, to put book on your shelf

1) Click on My Books in the header.
2) On the left of the page, click on the "All", you should see all your books listed in a grid.
3) On the far right click on "Edit review" . This should make the review section of the book to 
pop up.
4) Click on Choose Shelves. All your shelves will be in the drop down list.
5) Check the box next to "Kindle books to loan".
6) Close the pop up by clicking on the "x". This should take you back to your list of books

Keep doing this and you will add have a lending shelf.
