One of my very favorite series! I think it would make an excellent TV series on the BBC or Masterpiece Mystery too!

Peggy made the comment about this series being made into a TV series. I agree with both of you that it would make a great series to televise. Sounds like you Katrina are a fan of this series too.

A standalone mystery that takes place in the Hebrides. This is the sixth book that I have read by Peter May. I started with his Lewis Trilogy which hooked me to his writing.

Cold Granite by Stuart MacBride

Takes place in Aberdeen Scotland and is the 1st in series. If you like police procedurals that are atmospheric and character driven you should like this book.

Another good read in the Highland Gazette mystery series. The time period is the 1950's.

I loved The Lewis Trilogy too, Lynn! I have Coffin Road on the shelf to read. One of my favorite authors!
