Christi | 50 comments Will we have a choice of topics each month, or will you be picking the topic each month and we pick the books?

Christi, we'll probably have a genre or style of book, but then we'll have a group nomination and vote on what book is picked.

SamZ (samwisezbrown) It's time to start nominating our February reads. I'm thinking this month we'll go with the theme of mystery & suspense. If you want to use this for your prompt 14: Cloak & Dagger you totally can! The way this works is we'll have nominations here until we get 3 or 4 and then I'll set up a poll to vote on it! Let us know which book you want to read for February!

Christi | 50 comments I am planning on reading the ABC Murders by Agatha Christie for the cloaks and daggers part of the challenge, because it was a favorite of my grandma's.

My sister suggested to me Jeffrey Archer's Clifton Chronicles series ... I haven't read anything by this author so you might need to look up/research to see if it is "our group" appropriate.

I don't remember how many you said we could nominate so I am just throwing one more out there (feel free to edit my suggestions as needed$ but I really love Hearts in Hiding (Haggerty Mystery #1) by Betsy Brannon Green. It is a nice clean LDS mystery that has a romance in it.

SamZ (samwisezbrown) I would like to nominate Fer-de-Lance by Rex Stout. I love all the Nero Wolfe mysteries!

SamZ (samwisezbrown) Last call for nominations! If we don't get anymore, I'll post the poll early (tomorrow)!

Monica Beevers | 22 comments I want the A B C murders!

message 11: by Stacey (new)

Stacey (sljansen) I'm really excited about this month's theme. Mystery is not a genre I've read much of, so this gives me a place to start no matter which book wins!
