SamZ (samwisezbrown) Pretty simple task here. Grab a book with a one word title.

- What are you reading for this category?
- What made you choose this book?
- Could you guess what happens in the book from this one word?
- How was the book?

Dreamland by Sarah Dessen. It's not a real word, but hey! It's one word and fits the qualifications for this challenge. :)

2. What made you choose this book?
One of my favorite books of all time is another Sarah Dessen book, titled The Truth About Forever. I've read some of her other books and have a goal to read them all. Plus, Dreamland was a gift and I also have a goal to read books that I actually own, since a lot of them are just sitting on my bookshelf.

3. Could you guess what happens in the book from this one word?
Not entirely. I got the gist that a girl loses herself somehow, but I definitely had to read the back cover in order to get a better idea of the plot. The reference to the importance of "dreamland," where it comes from, and what it means can only be understood through reading the book.

4. How was the book?
Personally, I didn't think it was one of Sarah Dessen's best books. I absolutely hated the character of Rogerson and couldn't understand why Caitlin stayed with him for so long. The ending when Caitlin got help really saved the book for me.

SamZ (samwisezbrown) - What are you reading for this category?
Unwind by Neal Shusterman
- What made you choose this book?
This book was being read to my middle schoolers when I took over for another teacher who went on maternity leave. So I decided to read it from the beginning to find out what was going on.
- Could you guess what happens in the book from this one word?
Not so much, but I did have an inkling about what it meant since I started 100 pages in.
- How was the book?
It was good, but unsettling and chilly in places. I found it a very scary but believable place for people to be if there ever were a war fought over pro-life/pro-choice.

Rachel (rdlevee) - What are you reading for this category?
Heartless by Marissa Meyer

- What made you choose this book?
I loved Meyer's Cinder series so I was eager to read this book when it came out.

- Could you guess what happens in the book from this one word?
Yes. I knew the story was a re-telling in the Alice in Wonderland world about how the Queen of Hearts became who she was, so the title pretty much summed up the queen.

- How was the book?
I'm always a little leery of re-tellings of stories I love (Like Alice's Adventures in Wonderland) but since I enjoyed Meyer's re-tellings of fairy tales in the Cinder series I decided to read Heartless. Meyer has yet to disappoint me. Heartless lived up to her other books. Meyer writes clean books with interesting plots and characters.

SamZ (samwisezbrown) That's awesome! I've been back and forth on whether to read this because I love Meyer but don't much enjoy Wonderland.

Catherine Peel | 21 comments - What are you reading for this category? I read Switcharound by Louis Lowry

- What made you choose this book? I teach school and my students were reading this and I had never heard of it so I decided to read it also. I am a fan of the Giver and this is written by the same person.

- Could you guess what happens in the book from this one word? No I did not guess right. I thought the title had to do with a didn't plot that was unfolding but it really had to do with a plot in a plot.

- How was the book? I liked the book. It was a cute story about divorce and parents finding out the strengths and weaknesses of the children they don't see very often.

Kerrie Cinder by Marrisa Meyer. I picked this book due to being on my to read list for a while. You could guess it was about Cinderella but the story was not what i expected it to be. I enjoyed it and read the whole series.
