Melanie (melaniemom) Thank you. I think I found my final few to finish the list. I love seeing everyone's choices.

Your selections so far are excellent. I love both Elizabeth Gaskell and Agatha Christie, but have not read the two you have selected. Black Beauty, The Awakening, and The Good Earth are all three solid reads. If I can make a suggestion check out, Ethan Frome-1911, it was the first book written by Edith Wharton I read and have been hooked on her work ever since.

Melanie (melaniemom) I read Ethan Frome long ago. As I recall, it still stands as an all time favorite. It may be time for a re-read. I appreciate your suggestions!
