Is that so that nobody has to feel obligated to start it until their hangover has dissipated? [g]

My fault entirely. I'd still like to start on the first day of 2017. (Hangovers can join as they surface.)

You made Old Curiosity sound so much better than I remembered when I tried to read it, that I am willing to give it another go. So the fact that I am reading two Dickens simultaneously is all your fault LOL! Actually, it may work out since the Pickwickians are going to try to do Great Expectations more along the timelines that it was published in periodicals of the day, so it will take months probably. The idea is to get a feel for how the Victorians would have been exposed to the story. I still may fall behind on Curiosity, but am going to try it again!

So great that you're joining us. (It's my first time with OCS which may account for the enthusiasm.) The threads stay open and members always spiral back for those catching up which is an awesome thing about this group.

Quilp is seriously creepy. A person could read this for the creep factor alone. *shivers*
