Okay, this is gonna sound odd, as I'm trying to work up the courage to read, because of the subject matter, but The Curtain or Curtain is a book I'd recommend. It's the last case of Hercule Poirot and I'm not telling you how it ends. Surprising and sad.

I'm going to look that up. I've become quite the fan of A.C. in the last little while.
I think I saw some of those on Youtube (audiobook form). If I find them, would you like me to post the link?

I really like Lucy Eyelesbarrow and I like the open-ended question Agatha Christie leaves at the end -- who will Lucy choose? Unfortunately, in both the Joan Hickson and the Geraldine McEwan versions the answer is told to us instead of leaving it open-ended.
