Katie Flynn In 2016 I wasn't as big as a reader as I would have liked probably only reading at least 30 books in the year but this year is going to be different!

Katie Flynn First book down 74 books to go. The first book I decided to read was Brooklyn by the Irish Author Colm Tóibín because I love the movie and it was so good.. I say I enjoyed it more than the movie because it gave me more of an insight to Eilis life. The story is about an Irish girl who gets to travel to Brooklyn and live there for two years. While there she works and goes out and falls in love but back in Ireland something happens that takes her back once there she has to make a decision to stay in ireland or go back home to Brooklyn.. If you have a chance I do recommend picking it up

Nik (bleepnik) | 852 comments Thanks for the review! This one's on my list, too. I like reading the books before watching the films and I've been eager to get to this one.

Katie Flynn Finally finished my second book... was in a bit of a slump there but I'm so glad I finished it
.. The book was It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover and I loved it. it was in two parts and like all good things in part two shite hits the fan and the fan was spinning.. The story is about love and overcoming childhood trauma. Lily is an amazing character and so strong. The book was so well written and I enjoyed it so much defo 5 outta 5

Katie Flynn Finished my third book today. Welcome to Night Vale the novel. Oh my goodness I loved it I've had the book for over a year no but never got around to reading it but I honestly loved it. The point of views from Jackie and Diane were so different but so perfect against each other. Night Vale is one of my favourite places and honestly I'm so glad I found the podcast of it 2 years ago or else I wound have never read about such a weird town with such amazing/strange people.

But now into my next book. #nonstop

Katie Flynn Book Four was Phantom of the Opera which is one of my favourite movies/musicals and now has become on of my favourite books. This was the first time I read the book and honestly I was kinda hopping for Christine and Erik to be happy but atlas it was quite the ending I was expecting. Sad and heart break is the Life of the Opera ghost. Poor unhappy Erik. Shall we pity him? Shall we curse him? He only asked to be "someone" like everybody else

Katie Flynn Book five is the starter of a series Vampire academy! I've read this book before ages ago but recently I felt like rereading it and finishing the series.
The story is of a vampire and her protector who have just returned to school after being away for 2 years. Once they get back shite hits the fan and their lives are even more crazy then before they left. Rose and Lissa are bound together though shadows and it is the bound that keeps them going.
Plus Dimitri. Just saying Dimitri <3
My sixth book may not be the second book in the series as I seem to be missing it. It is ordered tho so it may be my seventh

Katie Flynn I lied in my last post...My sixth book was the second book in the Vampire Academy series and omg I'm in love with this series it is so good and honestly the badassness of Rose and the tiny bit of romance thrown in is making me so happy. On my my seventh book which is... yes you guessed it Shadow Kissed which is the third book in the series!!

Katie Flynn Aha my seventh book was the third book in the Vampire Academy series and I cried. Honestly this is one of my favourite series but I've never gotten past book two before but now I'm about to start book four and I've two books left in the series.

Katie Flynn Eight book down and as predicted it was Blood Promise the fourth book the in Vampire Academy series and reading rose leaving lissa to find the love of her life and kill him breaks my heart but the book was so good. Had me on edge the entire time I was reading. On to my ninth book Spirit Bound the fifth book in the series!!! I'm so sad I'm almost done this series. Honestly one of my fave book series (I've used the word series so many times now it doesn't feel like a real word)
