She had captured that feeling of being afraid of what's to come, so well, I myself felt it.

It was an epic read.

I first read The Hunger Games three years ago and I loved it. But reading it again for the third time made me realize how blind and immature I've been to overlook the other aspects of the book besides romance. I was too busy cheering for Peeta and Katniss that I forgot to appreciate the way Suzanne Collins has poignantly brought out how people suffer in times of war. I realized that the book was never about overthrowing the Capitol but about the devastation and the utter futility of war. Because, in the end, there's no completely good or completely bad side.

Although this wasn't the first time I've witnessed Christie's mind blowing endings, Kudos to her.
