Nisanka | 182 comments I finished my reading challenge for 2016 today!! My 20th book was Murder on The Orient Express by Agatha Christie. It just took a little more than half a day to read it. It was so engrossing!!! The ending was just....... WOW. (view spoiler)
Although this wasn't the first time I've witnessed Christie's mind blowing endings, Kudos to her.

Nisanka | 182 comments My first book for 2017 is And Then There Were None again by none other than Agatha Christie, of course. It is known to be her most famous and most loved work as of yet and I found no reason to contradict.
She had captured that feeling of being afraid of what's to come, so well, I myself felt it.

It was an epic read.

Nisanka | 182 comments I read The Hunger Games trilogy for the third time. And all I can say is, it never disappoints. I'll always keep coming back to it.
I first read The Hunger Games three years ago and I loved it. But reading it again for the third time made me realize how blind and immature I've been to overlook the other aspects of the book besides romance. I was too busy cheering for Peeta and Katniss that I forgot to appreciate the way Suzanne Collins has poignantly brought out how people suffer in times of war. I realized that the book was never about overthrowing the Capitol but about the devastation and the utter futility of war. Because, in the end, there's no completely good or completely bad side.

Nisanka | 182 comments I've started to read the Divergent now and this will be my second time reading it. To be honest, my love for the series has faded over time but I bought it last year just for the sake of having it (I'm weird like that) and I'm reading it out of loyalty because when I really did enjoy reading it for the first time (though I the ending isn't perfect).

Nisanka | 182 comments Finished reading the Divergent series and this time I read Four: A Divergent Story Collection. It was interesting to be in Four's (I'm not a big fan of the name Tobias) head. I really enjoyed reading his encounters with Tris.

Nisanka | 182 comments Rereading the Harry Potter series. On the fifth book now. It's a whole new experience. I've started to see a lot of characters in a new light. All the seven books are, of course, unputdownable. Reading for the second time knowing the story has not changed that fact. But I can never forgive J.K Rowling for going on a killing spree beginning from the Goblet of Fire. She killed so many beloved characters!!
