Points:
*50 - 99 pages = 0.5 points
*100 - 199 pages = 1 point
*200 - 299 pages = 2 points
*300 - 399 pages = 3 points
*400 - 499 pages = 4 points
*500 - 599 pages = 5 points
*600+ pages = 6 points
(maximum of 6 points per book)
*Buddy reads DOUBLE your points score, so a 300 page book + buddy read = 6 points. 600 page book + buddy read = 12 points. (Bonus points for buddy reads will only be given if the buddy read has taken place in our group.)

Hey everyone! Excited to play this challenge next month. I'm REALLY hoping it will get me over this slump I'm in (just have zero motivation to read at the moment).

Now that I'm back on Goodreads, after a long hiatus, and determined to read more books in 2017 than I did this year (I got into a horrible reading slump), I'm seriously thinking of giving this a shot. I'm not sure if I can do the ARC one, but the others I'm confident about. :)

I won't be posting for another couple of days, sorry. I'm doing a multiple books thing so I'll post them together.

does anyone know how the-new-to-you-series category work. Does only the first book in the series count or can we read the other books too? For example I posted a review for in the new series to me- can I continue with that series posting it as new to me?

You can read the rest of the series too. Same with new author. If you read a book by an author that's new to you, others books by same author will also count.

The Diviners. Boring! But we finally got to the dead body part from the synopsis so maybe the story will actually start.

How well are you at balancing multiple books? Because I always have to plan it out or I end up not reading any of them and starting a new one.

I just start whichever book I want- they're all pretty different though, I'm always slower with paperbacks which is why I'm still on with the finisher.

I generally read 4/ 5 books at a time usually only 1 paperback though, I love kindle books I can read loads of them at the same time :)

Paperback take me longer as well so I also do only one at a time. Ebooks are so much quicker.

I can only handle up to three books at a time. More than that would drive me nuts.

I usually like to read one book and finish it ASAP, but at the moment I'm reading three. Should have my first one finished tonight (again, sorry for the delay!).

I have three books finished, just have to find the time to write my reviews for them.

My goal for these last two weeks of January is to read at least 12 books. I feel like I've let this team down, with my reading so little. Just posted my first book today. O.o

Almost done with another 10-point book. :)) Yay!! Maybe once I finish this one (Heartless), I can get more read. It's just a little too slow for me. :/

Done and now I'm working on a nonfiction that's really good! Already 25% done! Feeling myself get out of the reading slump, I think!

That's great news! I hope you're out of it - reading slumps are terrible!

I've finished a couple more books and will try to get them posted tonight.

Just posted my last book. Definitely didn't read as much this month as I had thought I would. :/ Glad I'm doing a "fun" team in February. Good luck to any of you guys participating in next month's challenge. :D
