This challenge is a little different and a throw-back to the origins of the Reading Challenge group.

Mission: Read 50 books this year.

Plan: Keep track of your books any way you wish (in the Personal Goal folder, for example), then update here each month with your total for the month and the year so far.

p.s. I have no plans to keep an overall group tally.

So far I have read 30 books in January, which is a lot for me. Starting mid April I am going to look after my one year old granddaughter couple of days a week, so I will have a lot less reading time, which is why I am reading so much right now.

I think that it is a personal record for me. I blame it on the creative challenges (smile).

I squeaked in one more book for a total of 31. It is a reread of The Castle of Otranto by Horace Walpole, one of the first gothic novels.
