Maddison Poletski | 211 comments Every year, prior to this one, that I have done challenges or counted the amount of books I read, I have finished all the books that I was in the middle of before the year started. However, this year, I am in the middle of Game of Thrones and a few others that there is no way I will be able to finish before 2017. I definitely don't plan on including them in any challenges, but I was just wondering how you guys felt about including then in my "Books Read in 2017" list?

Kelly (pumpkins29) | 143 comments There is a thread called Question Time where someone else asked the same question. Most of us agreed that it is perfectly fine to include it in your 2017 reading. It's about when you finish the book, not when you start. I have already started some of my 2017 books because I didn't want to take the week off from reading, but I knew I wouldn't finish another book this year.

Maddison Poletski | 211 comments Okay, thanks! I looked around a little prior to posting, but obviously wasn't thorough enough.

Marcus Vinicius | 110 comments I agree with Kelly. Every year I count in my reading challenge books that I began to read in the former year. That's the problem with an avid reader...
