As usual, try to pick only one book and share all the books you read this month over in the "What are you reading" discussion.

The Mirror’s Truth and it was book two for me. I'm finishing up two other books that any other month would have been proud winners. A very good month after a couple of mediocre ones.

Tough one between Warbreaker, An Autumn War, and Beyond Redemption...

But for the last 10 chapters or so I'd have to say Beyond Redemption takes the cake

Tammie | 5952 comments I've only read three books in December, that's what happens in December because of the holidays, and even though I'm not quite finished with it, The Waking Fire is the best of the three by far.

Jarek "the Mistborn" Dąbrowski (jarekthemistborn) | 408 comments I would have to go with warbreaker no questions asked

Ack! I found 3 new all-time favorites this month, but if I'd have to choose just one, it was Academ's Furey by Jim Butcher.

Lundos | 392 comments I only read one book in December, so it's easy for me.

Beyond Redemption have been moved up on the priority list, though, after reading this thread.

The two books in that series other than Malazan are my favorite reads of the year.

Ivan (walking_disaster) This month I given 5 stars to two books. Out of them I will pick The Vagrant because of uniqueness.

I read it a few months ago. It was really good. Book two comes out on Kindle in March and I'll read it at that point.

I believe that's book three. Book twoThe Malice came out earlier this year.

Book two is only out in paper not Kindle. There is no planned release date currently planned for book three. There is a book 1.5 about Hammer the Goat which also came out in October.

I wasn't aware of delay between paper and ebook which makes little sense to me. Especially delay that big.

Quinn | 460 comments Beyond Redemption is the book I think is the best of December. Well I am reading Uprooted right now. So far it is a great book. but they are so different!

It was a good choice. It wasn't one that was on my to-read list, but that's one reason I joined this group, to find good fantasy that I wasn't aware of. I'm glad I read it.
