Another one finished Playing Dead - first one of hers I've read, and I did enjoy it.

Another book finished - first book of flash fiction I have read, quite enjoyable, although as my preference is doorstop, I could only read in certain circumstances

Another one finished, another mixed bag of short stories, but some only a page and a half, and a few typos.

I certainly am! Just started a book I have mixed feelings about, but feel I need to read Go Set a Watchman

Must admit I still haven't read To Kill a Mockingbird though I've meant to get round to it for years.

We read it at high school, it is one of my favourite books ever, you need to read it

Well, a month's worth of updates - 7 books. I was 10 books ahead and only had 2 left to hit my target, as I was reading 2, and we still have over 3 months, I decided to increase my target to 45, thought 50 might be too much!! That still leaves me 6 books ahead. I've also hit all my targets bar 3, am only one behind on my paperbacks, and still got 3 left on this years pile, am 692 pages off my target, so should easily hit that.

Well done! Afraid I'm now 19 behind coz I've been reading my own MS and I can't count that. ;-)

Another one finished, not a long book, but found it a slow read A Cold Day For Murder

Interestingly, I've just noticed I've hit the same amount of books I read last year, but managed to read 2000 pages more, as I've done a lot of doorsteps this year.

7 books in a month sounds like good going.

I've never thought to count how many books I've read. I suppose I could work it out from how many Amazon reviews I've left.

7 books is good going, especially when you've been reading long ones too.

That appears to be a one off!

Still, considering you're having all these eye problems, it's pretty good going.

Yeah, that has slowed me down, as has reading out loud to the foster cats

But I expect they appreciate it!!

Not quite sure they do, to be honest, so have stopped.

Another two finished, which means I'm sure my tracker is out. Have hit another two targets too!! Both books were favourite authors, but didn't particularly enjoy either

Before the Poison - not bad for a change in writing, but too descriptive.

Demons by Daylight - an old book converted, and clearly scanned and not checked, punctuation issues which you wouldn't expect for a well known author

Well, according to Goodreads, I have hit my target! I'm sure it is out though. I just have one target left to hit, and am currently reading that

Well done Desley. I am so far behind now I've given up checking it. As I now have to re-read my own book I'm going to fall even further behind :-(
