Debbie,
Yup. As long as your book takes place where it's warm that's fine. So if it's New York, but during the summer, that's great. Make sure you explain how it's warm and sunny though.

Thanks! I was unsure about how to find a title.

Now that today is rainy and windy I REALLY need to read something that takes place in a warm setting. Any new books you guys?

Good assumption. And it's an Hercule Poirot mystery. Excellent choice.

Hey everyone, I'm posting this here so you'll see it. But we started our United We Read campaign today. We've got a book giveaway, and an online book discussion for A Man Called Ove. Head over here to find out more.

If people are still looking for ideas, I looked for tropical books in listopia and there seems to be a lot of fun books that take place in tropical paradises, or desert islands.

Sounds awesome.
Sounds awesome.
Debbie wrote: "This has been a fun one. What's up for February? Since it's Valentine's Day, how about some poetry; it's supposed to be romantic. For those who don't like poetry, consider Dr. Seuss. It's all poetry."
Thank you for the suggestion. However, the February challenge will be something a little different.

I just checked that one out of the library. My book buddies all loved it.

I absolutely love that series!!!

I'll post the February book challenge today! Remind your friends it's the last day to post for the January challenge to be entered into the drawing.
Teresa is our prize drawing winner for the 2017 January reading challenge. She read Death on the Nile by Agatha Christie. Congratulations Teresa!

In all fairness, Elizabeth, when you said that February would be a little different, you got our reading lover's heart going. The romance theme is not different... :(
